Christopher Brown to lead product development and delivery efforts for Kyulux ahead of first commercial deployments of TADF and Hyperfluorescence.
BOSTON, Mass. USA, and Fukuoka, Japan June 8, 2017 – Kyulux, Inc., a world leader in next generation of organic light emitting diode (OLED) technology, today announced the addition of Dr. Chris Brown to its executive management team. In his role as Vice President of Products at Kyulux, Dr. Brown will be responsible for coordinating all global R&D, product development, and product delivery efforts. He will oversee expanded R&D operations in Fukuoka and Boston and report directly to Dr. Christopher Savoie, CEO.
Dr. Brown comes to Kyulux from Kateeva, a leading provider of OLED manufacturing equipment, where he was Vice President of Process Engineering. In this role, he led the Process Group’s OLED RGB program while managing device fabrication, testing, metrology, safety and demo activities as well as providing technical support for key customer accounts. Dr. Brown began his career at the Eastman Kodak Company where he contributed to and led a number of successful Photographic and OLED material commercialization programs. Following Kodak, he managed OLED product development programs at Plextronics (acquired by Solvay) as Director of Material Technology. Dr. Brown has been granted 31 US patents, has 34 publications, and has delivered numerous presentations spanning a variety of printed electronics applications. Dr. Brown is also a member of the Society for Information Display OLED Committee that organizes the OLED technical sessions for Display Week each year.
